PROFESSIONAL
I graduated from Troy University on July 24, 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Sport, and Tourism Management, with a concentration in tourism management and a minor in event management. During my time at Troy University, I gained knowledge in planning events, coordinating functions, arranging travel, scheduling and budgeting processes, and directing programs. I have planned banquets, honor society induction ceremonies, distribution events, and social activities for organizations. Through these experiences, I have had the opportunity to learn and practice my knowledge in all aspects of events, including: idea development, budgeting, scheduling, planning, visual design, advertising, digital and print medias, coordinating vendors and sponsors, public speaking, and presenting concepts.

I currently work full-time as a front desk agent in Prattville, Alabama at the Home2 Suites by Hilton.

PERSONAL
In my personal life outside of work and the classroom, I enjoy many different hobbies for entertainment. The thing I'm most proud of is being a writer and a poet. I enjoy writing stories and poetry of many types and aspire to become published one day.
When it comes to food, I see this as one of the few things we all have in common: we all have to eat. I am always up for trying a new dish and learning about where it comes from. I love exploring new cuisines and seeing what they have to offer.
In my down time, I relax by listening to music and playing video games (my favorite is The Sims 4) to create which entertains and somewhat even motivates me. I am always on the search for a new hobby and using the skills from my hobbies to grow myself personally and professionally while allowing the calmness and enjoyment of these activities to positively charge my energy and motivation.

Familial
My family consists of myself, my husband (EJ), and my two cats: Blitz and Tigger. Blitz was adopted in 2023 and Tigger was adopted in 2024 and they have my whole heart. I love my boys so much and I don't know what I would do without them. Blitz is a bit timid at first when meeting new people, although he is a huge cuddle bug once he warms up to you. Tigger, on the other hand, is as wild as any other orange cat ever has been and loves to steal attention from his older brother.
