This is a photo essay that compares small, Alabama towns lacking in tourism with squalors and slums across the world. It also focuses in on what these areas do/could do to bring in more tourism. It displays photos within walking distance of the center of The Square, or the Downtown Troy area, showing the poor conditions. It also describes slum tourism and discusses how it can be negative or used as a positive. You can view the entire document by clicking the PDF button above this text.
